After completing medical school in Boston, she chose to move away from the snow and did her internal medicine internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She went on to an infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.

Mohini Alexander is from Hyderabad, India.
She moved to the United States for her residency in internal medicine in New York. She then did a fellowship in nephrology before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area to be closer to family.

Robert Allen graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology. He received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University and went on to complete his residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Jorge Allende grew up in Virginia and West Virginia.

Joshua Bernstein grew up in Vermont.
He attended medical school at the University of Vermont and then completed his internal medicine and nephrology training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He came to San Francisco in 2007 and enjoyed a successful nephrology practice until he decided to transition to hospitalist medicine with PIMG in January 2022.
He loves spending time with his family and is an avid musician who can be heard playing banjo with his band, Festival Speed.
Neil Bhalerao grew up in Cupertino, California.
He graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a double major in Molecular Cell Biology and Business Administration. Yile Ding grew up in Shanghai, China.

She moved across town for her residency training at California Pacific Medical Center where she stayed an extra year to be a chief resident.
Yile is fluent in Mandarin and can understand basic Cantonese. She takes a special interest in teaching and working with medical students and residents.
Christine Dinh made a bold move across the country from the DC Metropolitan area for her husband's career.
She has been a hospitalist for 20 years after completing medical school at University of Maryland Baltimore and residency at Washington Hospital Center.

Ovidiu Dumitrescu grew up in Bucharest, Romania.
He graduated in 1983 from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Bucharest. In 1988 he became involved in HIV research and in 1991 started a virology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. He continued to work in HIV and cell biology research until 1996 when he began his residency training at California Pacific Medical Center.

Dan Dutcher grew up just outside of St. Paul, Minnesota.
In 2008, after completing his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Minnesota Morris, he enrolled in the United States Peace Corps to serve as a health volunteer until returning to the United States in 2011. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 2016 and went on to complete residency in Internal Medicine at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California in 2018. He also completed a Palliative Care fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2021.

Rachael VanDeBogart graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor of science degree in physiology. She received her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed residency at California Pacific Medical Center.
Andre Venturini graduated from the University Of Montemorelos School Of Medicine in 2005. He then attended Sound Shore Medical Center in New York where he studied general surgery. He came to California to complete his residency in family medicine at Loma Linda in 2011.
Andre enjoys sailing on the San Francisco Bay in his free time.
Stefani Wedl grew up in Pleasant Hill, California.
She left the Bay Area to attend college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina before attending medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2003. She eventually returned home to complete a residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco in 2006.
Stefani loves planning exciting travel adventures with her family, going to theatre performances, and is an avid, life-long San Francisco Giants fan.
Laurensia Widyastami grew up in Southern California.
She completed her bachelor's degree in nursing at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is experienced in a wide variety of clinical settings including acute hospital care, post-acute care (in the nursing home setting), and acute rehabilitation. She moved to the Bay Area in 2015 and obtained her master's in nursing at University of California, San Francisco.
In her spare time, Laurensia likes to bake bread, backpack the rugged outdoors, and rock climb.
Lory Wiviott grew up in Wisconsin.
He received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, completed his residency training at Columbia, and, following this, was a research assistant in infectious diseases at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of California, San Francisco.
He joined the California Pacific Medical Center teaching faculty in 1989 and is the Chair of the Department of Medicine there.
Lauren Wu grew up in New York.
She moved to California to attend the University of California, Berkeley and then returned to New York to attend the State Unversity of New York Stony Brook School of Medicine. She returned to the Bay Area to completed her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center.
Lauren's interests include watching films, cooking, and reading good books.
Jeff Xu grew up in San Jose, California.
He went to medical school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed an internal medicine residency at the Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Jeff enjoys playing badminton, cooking, and spoiling his two pet chinchillas.
Cleon Yee received a degree in human biology at the University of Utah before graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1999. He then completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center.
Shaun Young graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2001 with a degree in integrative biology and a minor in music. He received his medical degree from the University Of Southern California Keck School Of Medicine in 2007. He returned to the Bay Area for his residency training at California Pacific Medical Center.
Sonia Zaveri graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey with a double major in biological sciences and religious studies. She received her medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
Some of her interests include global health, traveling, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and watching documentary movies.
Laura Zhang completed her undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon graduation she attended the University of Chicago for medical school. She completed her internal medicine residency at California Pacific Medical Center.
Laura can speak conversational Mandarin and her hobbies include traveling, table tennis, badminton, piano, and ballet.
